WELDED

'Welded' focuses on combining form and function. The stool uses a circle as the core element and it is a structural cube made using 6 rings. The surface of the stool is detachable and can be replaced depending on the intended function the user has in mind. The stool was made in a way where it wasn’t complete without being put together by the user. Putting together also meant the possibility and flexibility of the object being taken part and exchanged or replaced. The concepts of attaching and detaching were crucial to explore this Modular furniture design project.
